COMPLIANCE STATEMENTS

 

  • WHAT IS A COMPLIANCE STATEMENT ?

            The COMPLIANCE LETTER, also know as a Letter of Compliance,  is a document that is required for Part 135 operators. It is required for certification by all types of operations, large and small. It is basically a rewriting of the regulations, done reg. by reg., that shows how your individual company plans to comply with each and every regulation. It will cover Part 135 regulations as well as Part 119 regulations. 

            For Single Pilot Part 135 regulations, the Compliance Statement will actually contain procedures on how you operate. For larger operations, these procedures are usually found in your Operations Manual and then tied by reference to your Compliance Statement. 

  • Do they look like "canned" programs?

            In one word, NO!  We write the Compliance Statements to include your company name on each page. Also, there are also hundreds of times that your name will be used throughout the document.

  • What if the FAA wants changes?
