MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LISTS
- WHAT IS A MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LIST
A MINIMUM
EQUIPMENT LIST or MEL is a document written for your aircraft. It is based
on the FAA published Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) and written to your aircraft specifications. The
amount of equipment that is allowed to be inoperative is based on the MMEL for
each aircraft type.
- WHY DO I NEED A MINIMUM EQUIPMENT LIST
FAA ENFORCEMENT!!!
You need an MEL
to operate your aircraft with some equipment
inoperative. If you operate your aircraft with inoperative items, and the FAA
catches you, penalties and even certificate enforcement can take place.
- OPERATE WITHOUT WORRY!!! With a Hunter & Hunter prepared
Minimum Equipment List for your aircraft, you can operate legally with some
equipment inoperative. This professionally written document can help keep
your aircraft flying, allowing you to keep earning more money, or getting
your boss to his destination on time.
